Delta Air Lines, an international airline based in Atlanta-USA, has donated 227 boxes containing a total of 10,896 amenity kits to the province of Sarangani, Philippines. This was made possible thru the effort of Honorary Consul General Ray Donato who linked the Galing Foundation, Inc. to identify recipient organization in the Philippines. Sarangani Province was chosen due to its remarkable achievement in supporting educational development especially to the school children of different indigenous peoples group living in far flung communities.

Each dopp bag amenity kit has the following contents: tissue pack, toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, eyeshade, paper band, pen, shoe polish, shoe horn, ear plugs, anti-bacterial wipe, and some skin care items. The amenity kits were shipped by Delta Airlines from Tokyo, Japan to General Santos City port and customs clearance done by the provincial government under the office of then Governor Miguel Rene A. Dominguez.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Delta Air Lines and Galing Foundation, Inc. for the generous donation that will definitely benefit the marginalized Sarangani children.” - Gov. Migs Dominguez in a letter addressed to Delta Airlines dated April 10, 2013
