The Malungon East District-Alternative Learning System (ALS) students were one of the beneficiaries from the amenity kits donated by Delta Air Lines. ALS is a program implemented by the Department of Education to extend education in a non-formal setting compared to that of a regular school. ALS teachers are going to identified communities and held classes in designated area and time. Usually, the teachers are innovative in out sourcing educational materials to be used for the class. The Delta Air Lines amenity kits donation came in handy for their needs. ALS students are youth, adults and usually indigents that did not have opportunity to go to school.

Thanks to ALS worker, Maam Joy Edday Dela Cruz, for the photo-documentation.

Bong salamat (thank you) Delta Air Lines, Dep-Ed Sarangani Division, and ALS teachers!

Books and techy gadgets amazes students

Students of Amado M. Quirit Sr. National High School are having fun trying the technological gadgets they received from educational supporters in Atlanta. The students also started to make use of their brand new reference books for English, Math and Science.  The educational resources are currently kept in the ground floor of the ClassDorm project of QUEST Program.

"With the presence of dictionaries, now we can give assignment work for students especially in vocabulary that we could not do before. The students, parents, teachers are thankful for this wonderful blessing extended to our school." - Jennifer Soguilon Dela Sierra, Teacher-in-Charge

Thank you GFI Donors

Students, teachers, and parents from Amado M. Quirit sr.
