In coordination with the Philippines Honorary Consul General of Atlanta, Ray Donato, the Atlanta based Delta Air Lines donated the following items to benefit typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) survivors:
30,000 Amenity Kits
2,500 toothbrushes/toothpaste
2,500 socks
5,010 blankets
1,008 bottles of 1.5L water

distribution. To be cleared tax free from the Bureau of Customs, YACAP
Foundation thru the efforts of Congresswoman Carol Lopez facilitated the proper
documentation with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office
(DSWDO). "This Wednesday, 29th of January, we will have a formal turnover of the relief goods in Congress. It will be participated by about 25 congressmen, both House officials and district congressmen of Leyte and Samar and the flooded areas in Mindanao. This will be covered by media. The Speaker of the House will be there as well." - Congresswoman Lopez
